George Nisula was born in Duluth MN in 1919. He worked with the French Resistance from 1940-1943. It was there that he met Django Reinhardt who taught him to play guitar with two fingers. After joining the Peace Corp. in 1961 he moved to Ventura Beach CA and formed the seminal surf band The Serfs! After a brief stint as a cold war double agent he loaded up his truck and moved to Beverly...Hills that is...swimming pools and movie stars. There he married Ellie Mae Clampett and they moved and settled in Ottawa Canada. There George persued a career as a roving folk singer. After a bitter divorce from Ellie Mae, George formed the Bluesicologists and toured extensively. He signed in 1990 with So-Low Records and over the next 10 years recorded 6 albums and won 4 Grammys, 2 Pulitzer Prizes and the Nobel Prize for his work in quantum physics. He then squandered his fortune became destitute and was reduced to playing bass in a country western band that played weekly at the Knights Of Columbus singles dance. He then started his meteoric comeback by playing bluegrass every fourth Friday night in strangers living rooms and became CEO of media conglomerate McSplivens LTD. At present he is rumored to be taking a nap.
